Estancia El Tapir is a regenerative demonstration project developed by Orbolo on its own estancia.
The project integrates regenerative livestock systems and conservation practices within the same territory, allowing Orbolo to directly design, implement, and monitor operations under real-world conditions.
We thank our private investors for enabling this project. They back implementation alongside Orbolo and support terms that prioritise establishment first. The estancia gets time to settle into production before any capital returns begin.

WHY THIS MATTERS
Regeneration only scales when it is economic viable.
Estancia El Tapir was created to demonstrate that livestock production, ecosystem restoration and profitability can coexist within the same model.
By operating the project directly, Orbolo is able to generate real production data, cost structures and performance insights, providing concrete evidence that regenerative land management can function as a viable business.
This proof is essential for future expansion, supporting the replication of regenerative production models across new territories and projects.
MODEL

WHAT THIS PROJECT OFFERS
Operational & Learning Value
Estancia El Tapir provides a real operational environment to apply, test and refine regenerative land management practices.
Day-to-day operations generate practical learning on decision-making, workflows, costs and system performance under real ecological and economic conditions.
Environmental Value
Estancia El Tapir delivers measurable environmental improvements at the landscape level, including:
-
Recovery of soil health and vegetation cover
-
Increased biodiversity through habitat protection
-
Improved water retention and ecosystem functionality
-
Greater resilience to climate variability
Investor Value
Estancia El Tapir offers exposure to climate-positive, land-based assets designed to deliver resilient long-term returns.
By integrating regenerative livestock production with land restoration, the project strengthens productivity, reduces long-term risk and supports land value appreciation.
